140 Years Strong: The American Fraternal Alliance Celebrates the Milestone and Our Shared Purpose All Year Long
Help the Alliance make 2026 an unforgettable year as we celebrate our 140th anniversary in true fraternal style. Throughout the year, each in-person Alliance event will feature a common bond celebration, highlighting the traditions, values, and impact that make our sector so unique. From meaningful moments of connection to memorable shared experiences, these celebrations are designed to honor our legacy while bringing our community together. We’ve created various ways for your society to get involved at each event.
Fundraiser – Join our Head Shaving Event!
Charity: St. Baldrick’s
Associate member Andrew Edelsberg from Gallagher Re will be shaving his head to support childhood cancer research. Societies will be asked to contribute prior to the event and on-site. Fundraising goal: $10,000.
Common Bond Celebration – Religion
A celebration of society religions will feature tables at which your society can display: religious artifacts, photos, artwork, member gifts like rosaries and crosses, etc.
Fraternalism Road Show
Please prepare a 2’ x 3’ “Fraternal Brag Board” tri-fold poster highlighting photos, impact stats, and standout moments from your society’s best fraternal events. These visual stories will serve as conversation starters and help bring your mission to life. The Alliance will save the brag boards to display at each in-person event.
The Great Fraternal Pin Swap
Bring your society’s enamel or acrylic pin and get ready for a high-energy networking experience designed to spark conversation and friendly competition. Societies, sponsors, and special guests are invited to bring 30 pins to swap with fellow attendees – just enough to create excitement, not enough to satisfy demand.
Every pin represents more than a logo it tells the story of your mission, history, and heart.
The goal: trade boldly, share proudly, collect meaningfully, and meet as many new people as possible. Because every pin you earn and every brag board you explore comes with a story that helps us better understand what makes our fraternal community so unique.
